Recommending equipment can be difficult. There are three parts to the playing interface: the horn, the mouthpiece, and our unique individual facial structure. What works for one player may not work exactly the same for others.

Having said that, certain things seem to remain fairly consistent. The recommendations on these pages will help young students and parents to select good equipment.
